This will be a café style event at which people can drink tea, talk to others about death and dying, and learn about research findings in a friendly atmosphere. People who are interested in talking about death and dying will be able to share their ideas and experiences with each other. There will be tea, coffee and cake available and the researchers from the University of Nottingham, Kathryn and Glenys, will briefly talk about some of their research findings on issues around death and dying. The main focus for the evening will be to open up conversations between people attending the event. Conversations will be led by the interests of people attending but supported by Kathryn and Glenys. Everyone will have the chance to speak, but there will be no pressure to do so. Information will be available about research on a range of topics relevant to the end of life and those attending will be invited to make suggestions and comments.
