Event description

Description

Tower 42 is the one of the tallest skyscrapers in the City of London and was originally built for the National Westminster Bank – hence it’s former name, the NatWest Tower. Seen from above, the Tower closely resembles the NatWest logo of three chevrons in a hexagonal arrangement.

The Tower, designed by Richard Seifert and engineered by Pell Frischmann, was built by John Mowlem & Co. between 1971 and 1979 and opened by Her Majesty the Queen in June 1981.

The building is currently fully occupiedto include over 70 companies within Tower 42, including Vertigo 42 Champagne bar, level 42 and Michelin star restaurant, City Social on level 24.
