How do I register to perform?

To perform, you’ll need to register your interest by completing the form on our website here - https://hiddenliterature.com/open-mic-london. Open mic sign-up will also take place on the night of the event on a first-come, first-served basis.

Do I need to wait for an email confirmation after registering?

Accepted Answer

No, you won’t receive an email confirmation. Just come along to the event. We do not reserve slots in advance. Slots are allocated on the day of the event, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Do I need a ticket to perform?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all performers must have a valid ticket for the event.

How long can my performance be?

Accepted Answer

Each performance should last no more than 5 minutes.

Can I perform with a backing track?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can perform with a backing track. Please bring your track on a USB formatted as a 16-bit MP3 file. Save the track in a folder named ‘MY WORD’ for ease of access.

When should I arrive for sign-up?

Arrive as early as possible to secure your slot. Sign-ups are on a first-come, first-served basis, and we cannot guarantee a spot for latecomers.
