An Open networking event where we are trying to raise some monies for Bolton Hospice, if you haven't been to Bolton Little Theatre before Elizabeth intends to show us around as well as providing us with a buffet.
We will network and try to gain new contacts for our selves and fellow members, non BforB members are more than welcome!!
A little bit about why we doing this follows:-
Bolton Hospice provides free, expert palliative and end of life care for local people facing incurable, life-limiting illnesses and their families. Care is delivered in a number of settings, including an inpatient unit, via day therapy and in patients’ own homes. As well as providing medical and clinical care to ease pain and relieve symptoms, staff at the hospice also provide emotional, spiritual and practical support services with a focus on improving quality of life. It costs over £3.5million a year to run the hospice and with less than £1million received in government funding the hospice relies upon donations and fundraising activity to generate over £2.5million each and every year.
