This workshop is the second of three Scholarly Communications Workshops to be hosted by the PhD Academy. What is Open research? is about making all aspects of the research process open to all possible interested parties. Find out about innovative approaches to communicating your results and sharing research outputs. We will discuss accessibility, inclusivity, citizen science, public engagement, research integrity, reproducibility, data sharing, social networking and more.
Come along and learn about the importance of open scholarship to modern academia, sharing your research online and new online tools for collaboration and networking.
We will have a guest speaker from the USA Policy and Politics blog who will explain how blogs can help you be an open researcher by communicating your work to a wider audience.
