Open Terrarium Workshop
Tue 6 December 2016, 18:00 – 20:00 GMT
Open terrarium is a glass container accommodating soil and plants used as a decorative or ornamental item.
During the workshop you will learn all about the main elements to build a closed terrarium as well as an introduction on terrarium history. Terrariums were invented by accident in 1827 by Nathaniel Ward, a London doctor who was at the moment studying insects behaviour.
In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to become familiar with a variety of plants suitable for close terrarium making and how take care of them.
You get to keep what you make and everything is provided!
