Open the Box:Engaging with Children & Families in your Church & Communities
Sat 7 October 2017, 09:15 – 13:45 BST
Join us for this year’s Bishop’s Headline Conference on Saturday 7th October at Select Stadium, Widnes when you'll find out why engaging with children and families in your church and communities is so important.
You will have the opportunity hear national and international keynote speakers cover the subjects below.
- The national picture of children and families in church -with up-to-date research and information.
- Baptism – how we can build stronger connections with the family, as they begin the first stage of a child’s Christian journey.
- The importance of generational storytelling -communicating memorable Bible stories to children and families.
Our aim is to equip parishes with the tools to enable them to successfully engage with families so they can develop their worshiping communities. We hope these engaging presentations will stimulate discussion, from which we can develop a series of Open the Box workshops in 2018 to explore each element further.
Brunch will be included and there will be time for you to explore the resource market place during the conference.
