Open University in Scotland – Big Blether

The OU in Scotland invites all OU in Scotland students to join us for a Big Blether via video call.

A good blether can help us through a tough time, give us the confidence to overcome a hurdle or just put a smile on our face at the end of a long day.

Our Big Blether events are fantastic opportunities to meet fellow students and have a chat. Join us for fun activities and uplifting conversations! All Scottish students are warmly welcomed.

Sessions will last 60 minutes. You can drop by any time between 18:30 and 19:30 and stay for as long as you can. Please note that we will host breakout rooms throughout the event to give you an opportunity to chat with fellow students

The sessions will be hosted on Adobe Connect – this is the platform that is used for most modules in the OU. Check out our guide to Adobe Connect (StudentHome log in required) for further information on using the platform.

We host a Big Blether every month, and you’re welcome to join us whenever it suits you—whether that’s every time or just now and then!

Thursday 30th October, 18:30 – 19:30

Tuesday 25th November, 18:30 – 19:30

Tuesday 16th December, 18:30 – 19:30

Dates for our 2026 sessions will be announced in January.

If you would like to attend each monthly session, please register for them individually.
