Do I need to book before the event?

Accepted Answer

We encourage booking your ticket due to the capacity of our venue. However, we will still be able to accept walk-ins if there is capacity available.

Question 2

Is Talbot Rice Gallery accessible?

Accepted Answer

The Gallery's wheelchair accessible entrance is from West College Street. We have a lift on Level 0 (Ground floor) that takes you to the White Gallery on Level 2, where you will also find the Side Gallery and access to the Playfair Library.

Question 3

What if I am late?

Accepted Answer

You can enter the Opening Reception anytime between 6pm and 7:45pm from Talbot Rice Gallery. The event will end at 8pm.

Question 4

Is there somewhere I can store my belongings?

Accepted Answer

Due to the nature of the exhibition and to ensure artwork safety, we ask that you do not bring any large bags or items with you. There will be a coat check where you can store your bags, coats and other belongings at the entrance.

Question 5

Where will the drinks be?

Accepted Answer

Drinks will be served from 6:30pm in the Playfair Library, which is accessible through Talbot Rice Gallery. We ask that you do not bring your drinks into the Gallery to ensure artwork safety.

Question 6

Will this event be photographed?

Accepted Answer

We will have a professional photographer taking images during the event. If you do not want to be photographed, please speak to a member of the Talbot Rice Gallery team.
