Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

This one day workshop offered by the Swedenborg Open Learning Centre (SOLCe) is aimed at anyone interested in exploring spirituality and spiritual development in a friendly and supportive environment. The workshop looks at spirituality in its broadest sense and is suitable for people of all faiths and no faith.

Taking doors as our theme, together we will look at how doors offer a way into a different room and open up new spaces to explore and inhabit. On a deeper level doors of opportunity or crisis give us the potential to connect with what is unknown and undeveloped in our inner world.

Held in the calm and peaceful surroundings of Wellspring House, the workshop gives us time and space to discuss and reflect on how to open the door to engage with what is authentic and freely gifted to us from the Divine. The day includes talks and sharing, meditation and group activities.

Our workshop leader Helen Brown SOLCe Education Leader is an experienced facilitator, ordained minister, spiritual director and psychotherapist.

Refreshments: Please bring your own packed lunch or food for a shared lunch. Drinks are provided.

Venue: On site car parking is available.

Concessions: we would like to give as many people as possible the opportunity to participate in our workshops, if you are unwanted or on a low income, please contact us on 0161 766 2521 to ask about concessionary rates.
