Event description

Description

Ever wondered what Olympians and Formula One drivers have in common, whether a future of human-centred technology is possible or how science contributes to race speed?

Former F1 driver Susie Wolff and Olympic gold medallist and VP of Business Development at QuantumBlack, Anna Watkins will share their unique and motivation story, and discuss how an increasing reliance on data, science and technology is reshaping the world of sport as we know it to gain competitive advantage.

Discounted tickets are available to Members of the Ri. Find out more about how to join our community.

The doors will open at approximately 6:30pm, with a prompt start at 7:00pm. There will be time for questions after the talk. Latecomers will be admitted to the gallery.

By booking to attend events at the Royal Institution, you confirm that you have read and agree to the Ri's event terms and conditions.
