Operationalising Trauma Informed Care in Adult Social Care Services

Trauma informed practice is widely used in children’s services. However, the strategies, support, and understanding of how trauma affects behaviours in adults and how care provision should positively respond to that are largely overlooked in adult social care services.

This online conference brings together academics, professionals, thought leaders, and practitioners to discuss what trauma informed practice is. It will also be an opportunity to explore how trauma informed practice can be used in adult care services. There will be opportunities for online networking, Q&As, and knowledge sharing.
