Opportunities for Researchers: Calls in Europe and Spain
Date and time
Description
On Thursday 23th March, the session “Opportunities for Researchers: Calls in Europe and Spain” will be held in the Instituto Cervantes in Dublin.
In this session, attendees will have the chance to get familiar with different fellowships, calls and contracts available for researchers in Spain at different career stages.
First, Cristina Gómez, National Contact Point for Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) will explain the European research and development framework together with the European Comission calls for hiring researchers: Marie Skłodowska Curie and European Research Council (ERC) actions.
Next, Lorenzo Melchor, international scientific coordinator at the Spanish Embassy in London, will give information about hiring processes for researchers in Spain including calls and public contracts available at both state and regional levels, as well as some private initiatives. He will also present catalogues and websites where additional information regarding job offers for researchers can be found.
The session will end-up with a vino español that will foster discussion among participants.
This session is organized by the Spanish Research Society in Ireland (SRSI), the Instituto Cervantes in Dublin, the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), and the Spanish Embassy in Dublin.
