Opportunity, access and advice: meet the stars of the Uni Myths Busted Campaign

The Uni Myths Busted campaign, launched in November 2024, is a partnership between University Alliance, UCAS and students who are passionate about removing barriers to university.

The campaign tackles some of the common preconceptions and misperceptions that can discourage young people, especially from underrepresented groups, from applying to university. It platforms real first-in-family students and successful alumni to help empower young people to make the right choices for them.

Almost one year on from the campaign launch, this event is an opportunity to celebrate the campaign’s brilliant student ambassadors, hear their stories, and reflect on what the next steps might be for expanding opportunity through higher education.
