Description

Ops Stories Book Club - The 4 Disciplines of Execution: Achieving Your Wildly Important Goals - Chris McChesney, Jim Huling, and Sean Covey

About Ops Stories Book Club:

The book club was started to:

  • Add a little accountability for reading that book that everyone raves about which has been gathering dust on your shelf.
  • Provide an opportunity to share your thoughts, hear other interpretations and get a push to implement some of the advice from the books.

In true start-up style, will be looking to try things out, get feedback and tweak but the initial structure is:

  • 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
  • Mixture of business / startup / personal development books
  • We will set themes around the book to discuss so if you have not read the full book but are interested in the themes you can also join (there is also blinkist for the super efficient!)
  • Reading a book a month is not easy! You do not have to come every month. We pick books and themes in advance so you know for at least the next 6 months and can pick and choose which ones you are interested in and give yourself enough time to read and digest them.

Ops Stories is a community for operations leaders in startups and scaleups.

We chat online and meet each other offline. We learn from each other by discussing challenges and sharing stories, experiences and advice. Most importantly, we help each other be more effective and grow in our roles.

Run by Aušrinė Keršanskaitė and Astrid Verstraete. Part of Stories.
