About this event

Resilience Session

Join us for this informal, online event that will start with a resilience workshop hosted by accredited Resilience Engine Practitioner and coach, Anise Bullimore, and end with socialising fun. In this friendly, interactive, 90 minute workshop you will:

  • Learn what resilience is and why you and your colleagues would want it
  • Learn about your own resilience level and what you need to feel more resilient
  • Have some uplifting conversations plus space and time to think about the year you’ve had
  • Take away at least one thing you can do right now to raise your resilience
  • Connect with each other, laugh, bond and toast the highs and lows of 2020

What is Resilience?

Resilience is about prioritising our wellbeing AND our productivity. It is about protecting against stress, knowing what’s important to us and taking care of ourselves and our teams. Resilience Engine research defines resilience as ‘our capacity for change’. Rather than focusing on what we need to just cope or keep bouncing back, this approach focuses on what we need to really thrive.

About Anise

Anise, the creator of Walk Coach Learn, is an experienced coach and walking enthusiast specialising in building resilience through challenging times. She has a background in bringing about change in Higher Education through educational technology and leadership development. Her career experience of change, restructures and redundancy, combined with having three daughters and a year of cancer treatment sparked a deep interest in resilience. Anise’s resilience coaching focuses on how we can work in ways that are productive and healthy for us, our families, our teams and our organisations/companies. She can often be found wandering and working in London parks.

The Networking Part

After the Resilience Session you're more than welcome to stick around for the networking part of our event. We'll be breaking up in little rooms of 5 to 6 people and we can have casual conversations. It doesn't have to be Ops themed convos, but we all know we always fall back on shop talk. ;)
