Introduction to Primary Authority: Essential Skills for Regulators Birmingham

Office for Product Safety and Standards, Victoria Square House, Victoria Square, Birmingham B2 4AJ

10:00 to 15:30 (BST)

For those of you wishing to understand the ins and outs of the legal framework of the scheme, the role it has in supporting improved regulation as well as how to operate competently within its parameters as a local authority officer, our ‘Introduction to Primary Authority: Essential Skills for Regulators’ is the course for you. This course is also ideal for officers who are interested in taking the first steps to set up primary authority partnerships in their own authorities. No prior knowledge of primary authority is necessary to attend.

We only have the capacity to host 20 delegates per session, so please do book early to avoid disappointment.

We also offer Making an Impact Through your Partnership and An Inspection Plan Workshop training courses. If you would like to discuss any aspect of our training programme further or would be interested in more of a bespoke training package for your local authority, please contact Heather Woodward at heather.woodward@beis.gov.uk or 07733 204403.
