Join us for an enlightening afternoon at the Susan Cadbury Lecture Theatre, Conference Aston - Hotel and Conference Centre. Professor Yakubu Olawale’s inaugural lecture, “Optimising Infrastructure Engineering and Management in a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous (VUCA) World”, explores strategies for achieving greater success in infrastructure project delivery amidst the dynamic, complex, and unpredictable realities of economic shifts and evolving technological landscapes. Drawing on his extensive background—spanning more than 20 years of practical experience with some of the largest infrastructure projects in the UK and rigorous academic research in infrastructure project controls—Professor Olawale, currently the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of MAC Group, UK, following seven years at KPMG UK Infrastructure Advisory, offers a unique perspective that bridges industry practice and scholarly insights.
