Not afraid of a challenge, Richard Noble OBE is an entrepreneur who has been pushing the boundaries with high stake, engineering feats for over 30 years. The holder of the land speed record between 1983 and 1997, Richard was the project director of the ThrustSSC, the vehicle which holders the current land speed record.
In 1995 his website was the fifth largest in the world, he used crowd funding before crowd funding was invented, and with his latest project he hopes to break the 1000mph on land with the Bloodhound supersonic car. With 500 sensors on the car and the driver, Richard is making this data available to schools to inspire the next generation of innovators, challengers and record breakers.
Keith leads the product management team who do development, in-life management, performance and product marketing for all of BT’s UK and global data transport products. These include core network, application and cloud connectivity services – collectively the BT Connect portfolio.
Alan co-founded PeerPay in 2015. The vision was to build a cloud based software platform for accountancy practices to help alleviate cashflow constraints that hold back SME businesses which have too much of their working capital waiting on prolonged payment terms with their large customers. Alan pioneered computer networking at the Science Research Council in the late 70s on one of the first computers on the Internet. This led to a career as a software engineer working on ground-breaking developments, such as the world’s first commercial data network and the UK’s first home-banking service for Midland Bank (HSBC).
