About this event

Event Description

The focus throughout the day is on strategies that position oracy at the heart of good teaching and learning and, at the same time, helping learners to become more confident listeners and speakers. Using engaging texts, we explore how carefully structured talk can enable learners to unpack meaning, consider themes, patterns and ‘big ideas’ and develop their analytical skills. We practice what we preach, so be prepared to be engaged in lots of oracy!
