Join professional countryman Les Davies for a practical training day in orchard pruning!

About this event

Traditional orchards can be remarkable havens for wildlife, providing a variety of food and homes for birds, insects and mammals. Whether you're a beginner or an enthusiast, this course will help you learn more about creating a fruitful orchard for both people and wildlife.

Set in My Wild City site Stockwood Open Space, you will have the opportunity to learn about orchard pruning and put your new found knowledge into practice - by helping to restore parts of a traditional community orchard in this unique wildlife site.

By the end of this course, you should feel confident in different pruning techniques and have an overview of orchard management.
