Join us for this one-day practical workshop, and help us mow our community orchard.

Learn how to set up and use a scythe to mow grass and wildflowers, and discover the basics of traditional meadow management.

In the morning, we will show how to set up the scythe, how to hone the blade, and how to mow.

After lunch, you will have all afternoon to practice with the scythe, and help us mow the orchard.

No previous experience necessary!

We provide all the equipment you will need. Please come dressed appropriately for the weather and working outdoors.

We provide drinks and biscuits. Please bring a packed lunch and snacks for yourself.
