The church can be reached from the street without the need to negotiate any steps. There is a shallow ramp in the porch. An area for wheelchairs can be arranged in the normal seating area: please contact the organisers to book.

Seating is allocated on a 'first come first served' basis. Chairs will be arranged to face the organ; alternatively there are pews in the front half of the church which face away from the organ console but still provide an excellent position for hearing the recital.

The recital will consist of two halves separated by a short interval in which complimentary refreshments will be served.

Yes, entry to the concert is free but voluntary donations will be much appreciated in order to cover costs and also contribute to the upkeep of the church building and the organ itself. There will be collection boxes inside the church.

The organ was built by Kenneth Tickell & Co of Northampton in 1988. The traditional ‘tracker’ action links the keys mechanically to the pipe valves and enables a very precise and light touch. Tickell was one of the leading organ builders of the 20th century and excelled at smaller instruments.

Since 2010, Ivan Linford has enjoyed a busy freelance career as an organist and pianist. He plays the organ regularly at Kettering Crematorium and is rehersal accompanist to the Leicester Bach Choir, Chater Community Choir, and Harborough Singers. On Sundays, he plays at several local churches.
