Organisations and Workplaces of the Future
We welcome leaders and HR professionals to join us in this full day event, designed to investigate the impact which global, political, financial and technological changes will have on organisational development and structures in the future. The continuing fast paced progression of technology, artificial intelligence, use of social media and the diversity of values among different generations gives HR professionals a lot to think about.
The event will be participative with group discussions on a range of topics in relation to the future of HR. Some of these topics include developing engaged teams, communication strategies, work structures, effective leadership and the impact these will have on the success of organisations of the future.
The event will include a session on Social media which has significantly transformed how people communicate. It is used to raise the profile of both individuals and organisations and encourage staff engagement. Social media has been described as a barometer for public opinion; what are people saying about your organisation and the services you provide, however, it is not without risk and needs to be handled with care. Our speaker from Manleys will help us understand the practical and legal aspects of social media in the workplace.
