Welcome to the Orientation session organised for International Students starting their studies in Edinburgh!

Starting your studies and a new life in a different country can feel overwhelming - we get it. That’s why we, a group of current students and alumni of Edinburgh University, are organising this orientation event to make your transition to Edinburgh easier.

You’ll hear from a range of speakers who will share tips and advice on everything from adjusting to life in Edinburgh and exploring the resources available to international students, to understanding your accommodation rights, navigating the job market, academic culture, and looking after your mental health and wellbeing.

It’s also a great chance to ask questions, meet others in the same boat, make friends, and start building your community here.
