CIRM – Cyber Incident Response Management

Practice with Dynamic, realistic and affordable cyber-training environment

A Thought Leadership cyber-incident response management Workshop for ICT organizations Delivered By ORIGONE & Israeli military top cyber-security trainers over the realistic environment created by ORISECURE platform.

Why Practical cyber-training ?

As the incidence of cyber attacks grows in frequency and sophistication, the training and certification of cyber warfare teams has become crucial to the survival strategy of organizations and nations worldwide.

While a great variety of cyber defense tools and technologies exist, the complexity of today’s cyber-threats requires rigorous testing and proven field experience in their use. Most of the cyber training programs available today suffer from a number of disadvantages:

Field experience. Many newly-trained and even experienced cyber-professionals exhibit a lack of real-world, in-the-field experience. Theoretical learning materials and attack simulations are helpful, but do not sufficiently prepare trainees to handle real-life cyber-campaigns. Exposure to authentic campaigns, as well as the tools and techniques used to mitigate them, would promote “battle-readiness” as the need is urgent and immediate.

Understanding the attacker’s mindset. As in conventional warfare, understanding the mindset of the enemy is crucial. Lack of knowledge of the attacker’s strategy and tactics puts the defender at a distinct disadvantage. In the cyber world, the challenge is identical – to learn the “trade secrets” of the opponent, and implement a preemptive prevention strategy.

Teamwork. The growing sophistication of cyber attacks requires a team-based approach to remediation. Even a collection of elite cyber-professionals, working individually, won’t get the job done. Teamwork is crucial – but which structure and methodology is correct for the organization and the cyber threats facing it? How can teams be optimally trained to deal with these threats?

What is the course outcome?
ORISECURE provides course students with authentic, hands-on training in a controlled environment – using real-world cyber threats. It’s not a simulation!

Students gain practical knowledge as they are required to handle actual cyber-attacks – based on newly discovered campaigns.

The ORISECURE curriculum covers all aspects of cyber warfare, including threat identification, incident management, mitigation, and forensics. It provides in-depth training on the tools and techniques that will be at your team’s command when a real attack incident occurs.

Who will benefit?

  • Medium to Large enterprises or organizations that need to train SOC (Security Operations Center) and CERT (Cyber emergency response teams) personnel
  • Governmental security agencies that need to build a CERT (Cyber Emergency Response Team) in their country
  • Distributors or professional academies that want to open their own cyber-competency center and train cyber-professionals in their region or industry

What will be gained?

The ORISECURE training curriculum challenges security professionals with authentic, real-world cyber-attack campaigns. It gives trainees valuable hands-on experience with the tools, techniques and team skills required to effectively identify and respond to cyber incidents and to maintain ongoing readiness by exposing cyber-defenders to the attacker's mindset.
