Shifting Normal: Building a Circular Economy for Orkney
Join us for an engaging and practical workshop exploring how Orkney can embrace a stronger circular economy where resources are reused, shared, repaired, and regenerated to benefit people, the place, and the planet.
Everyone is welcome so please don’t be shy. You don’t need to be a community leader or a policymaker to take part. If you’ve ever run waste to the tip or wheeled your bin out for collection, you’ve already engaged with the system, so anyone who is a passionate resident is invited.
What to expect
A space to connect, reflect, and perhaps commit to next steps.
Together we will dive into what people think and feel about having a stronger local circular economy, what opportunities and skills we already have, what might hinder a greater circular economy and what people and groups might be able to help develop it.
Let’s come together to identify opportunities for a thriving, resilient and circular Orkney.
Max. 12 people (additional workshop TBC if oversubscribed).
