Description

Orthotropics is a branch of dentistry that specialises in treating malocclusion by guiding the growth of the facial bones and correcting the oral environment. ... The main focus of this approach is to correct a patients oral and head posture.

Course aims: Participants will gain overview of aetiology of malocclusion, as well as epidemiology, pathology and cure.

Course objectives: Participants will understand what causes malocclusion, what is involved with curing it, and how this is currently being approaching this with modern orthodontics. What the general evidence base is and where this is likely to go from here. Most important when to refer Class III cases!

For the 2017-18 season of Oxford BDA evening lectures food will be included in the main ticket price. However, a complimentary food ticket MUST be booked by Sunday 5th November. Without a booked ticket, the Oxford BDA cannot guarantee food will be available.
