Ask An Artist: Making the Most of a Market with Becca, of To Be Adorned

Thursday 2nd October, 10.30am–12pm | Free at TOSH

Winter Market season is well and truly upon us... And who better to guide us than Becca Parker of To Be Adorned – a maker and organiser with first-hand experience on both sides of the stall!

Becca is a Bournemouth-based designer-maker creating unique, colourful accessories that are kind to the planet. Alongside running her own slow fashion business and contributing to leading UK craft magazines as a writer and textiles designer, she also organises the Westbourne Artisan Market. This means we’ll be getting insights not only from a stallholder’s perspective, but also from the organiser’s side of things!

In this relaxed Q&A, Becca will share her experiences and advice on:

  • Finding the right markets for your work
  • Preparing and setting up with confidence
  • Making the most of it on the day
  • The aftermath! Follow ups and new opportunities

Whether you’re completely new to markets or looking to refine your approach, come along for a friendly conversation with plenty of practical tips.

No need to prepare anything in advance (although you are welcome to), just bring your curiosity and we'll bring the cuppas....

Free to attend, open to all creatives and makers.

And why not arrive early and pop into Creative Cowork Club? Free coworking from 9am-12pm every Thursday!
