Description

Syrian Women’s Narratives from the conflict, with readings and discussion with the writers Malu Halasa ,Zakaria Tamer ,Rasha Abba,Rana Abdul Fattah and Marwa Al Sabouni, some present in person others via Skype.

Led by editor and journalist Malu Halasa, a discussion of women's experiences during conflict and the role their work has played in society, alongside a selection of readings from women writers, some still in Syria and in exile providing personal accounts of what it is like to be on the ground both inside and outside of the conflict.

Suitable for adults and young people

  • Please note event attendees must arrive at least ten minutes before the start time of the event, otherwise their booked space will be given to someone on the reserve list
