This is the second of six welcoming creative workshops designed especially for women and families from Central and Eastern Europe. Through simple drawing, collage, and conversation, participants will explore their personal journeys and everyday lives, reflecting on what makes them unique while celebrating shared roots and cultural heritage.
The session will include hands-on activities and relaxed discussions about belonging, home, and heritage. Participants are welcome to bring personal stories, objects, or memories to share, if they wish. No artistic experience is required, just curiosity and a willingness to connect. All materials and light refreshments will be provided.
These workshops offer a warm, supportive environment where you can meet others with similar experiences and share the challenges and joys of building a life in a new place. They provide time to pause, reflect, and express yourself creatively, while celebrating cultural identity in a safe and inclusive space. Together, we will explore and honour the traditions and stories that shape who we are, fostering connection, understanding, and a sense of belonging.
Address: Oakenshaw Community Centre, Redditch B98 7YB
