Our Health Our Care: Public Event Preston Afternoon

This event is for the local community and is hosted by the Our Health Our Care programme.
We are holding public engagement events in our communities to ensure we capture your views and to give you the chance to ask any questions about the progress of our work.
Your opinion matters to us. We want to give you, our local people the opportunity to get involved to help us to design a health and social care system that will meet the needs of everyone in our communities.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
For those who are walking:
Please enter the Gujarat Centre through the main entrance, someone will meet you there and direct you to the room entrance. The room is on the ground floor, there will be no need for steps or a lift. The address is: Gujarat Centre, Preston, Lancashire, PR1 8JN.
For those travelling by car:
There are numerous car parking spaces available in the Gujarat Centre's car park. If you are using a sat nav, please enter the post code: PR1 8JN.
For those travelling by train:
The Gujarat Centre is a short walk from the train station, it is 0.5miles and will take on average 10minutes.
For those travelling by bus:
The Gujarat Centre is a 1.1mile walk from the Preston Bus Station, this will take on average 21minutes. The Bus Station is located at:

You may find it easier to take the bus from the Bus Station to the Railway Staition. Bus numbers that will take you are: 13, 80, 89, 111, 2, 2A, 3, 2X. You will need to get the timetables from: http://www.prestonbus.co.uk/ or https://www.stagecoachbus.com/

Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?
Please contact us if you have any questions about the event or accessibility. Should you require a translator or large script printed documents we would be happy to provide these for you. You must contact us at least two weeks before the event.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
There are no age limits to the event, for our younger attendees there are baby changing facilities available. we can on request provide drawing and colouring books. Should you have any special requirements, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Please bring your printed ticket with you to the event.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
We can alter this for you at the event, it will mean that there will be a short registration process when you arrive.
