Interested in the future of your health and care services?

Come to the Our Healthier Bromley event

Hear direct from NHS leaders about important plans for health and care services in Bromley and south east London. This is an opportunity to tell us your views and work out the best ways of helping our NHS to meet the increasing demand on services.

How this event will work

At this event you will hear about the STP in more detail. There will also be market stalls where you can come and talk to us about:

  • Community based care
    Local care networks, making best use of GPs, pharmacies and community support, self-care and end of life care
  • Urgent and emergency care
    Alternatives to A&E including GP hubs and out of hours doctors, improving access to appropriate services in the Emergency Department and apps and phone lines
  • Services for families
    Better support for pregnant women and new mothers, a single point of access for children and young people with emotional and mental health and wellbeing needs and improving access to early interventions
  • Planned care
    Improvements in eye care, diabetes, cardiology and physiotherapy
  • Mental health services
    Plans to improve services around prevention, early intervention, current treatment, those with long term needs and recovery




1pm - 3pm

Market place - walk around, find out about our plans, share your views

3pm - 4pm

Question and answer - A panel of local clinicians and experts will answer some of the questions raised during the session

On the panel are:

  • Ben Travis - Chief Executive, Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust
  • Lorna Blackwood - Director, Health Integration Programme, London Borough of Bromley
  • Matthew Trainer - King’s College Hospital Foundation Trust
  • Jacquie Scott - Chief Executive Officer, Bromley Healthcare
  • Colin Maclean - Chief Executive, Community Links Bromley
