Our Home, Our Vote is an empowering, interactive workshop for the Arab community in Manchester exploring the UK political system and the importance of political participation for migrant communities. Join us as we breakdown how government works at local and national levels, uncover the history of immigration and voting rights, and learn how you can take action to build political power.

This session will include:

🗳️ A breakdown of UK elections and who can vote

👥 An excellent opportunity to meet some councillors and to learn the process of becoming one!

📜 A history of migrant rights and political exclusion

📣 Practical tools for contacting MPs and campaigning

👥 Group discussions on how to create change together
