Longannet Regeneration Project - August 28th, 13:00
The West Fife Community Forum has submitted proposals to the Task Force for a community led regeneration of the Longannet site.
A Community Renewable Energy project might provide, not only, much needed jobs and economic impetus to the area, but help drastically slash fuel bills for those living in the West Fife villages and their surrounds.
Come to the Kincardine Community Centre on the afternoon of the 28th of August to see and hear the ideas the Forum has for turning this local calamity into an opportunity for a greener more prosperous future for everyone in West Fife.
Prestonhill Quarry Diver Training - August 28th, 15:00
A group of divers have come forward with a plan to change the perception of this disused quarry from a liability needing removed, to a resource unrealized. The move follows decades of neglect and tragedy with the owners unwilling to take action and the council financially unable.
The diver's long term ambitions are for a world class dive training centre and are launching the Forth Diver Training Club with a presentation on this hopefully sunny Sunday. Come along and find out more!
Park at the Ballast Bank community centre and walk along the coastal path towards Dalgety Bay for 5-10 minutes, you can't miss it.
