Our MBA at 40 - celebrating leadership and influence
Tue 4 April 2017, 17:30 – 20:00 BST
We are delighted to be hosting a series of events throughout 2017 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the MBA degree here at the University of Glasgow. The anniversary celebrations will reflect the achievement and excellence of our Business School over the past four decades. To celebrate this milestone year I would personally like to invite you to join us at our panel launch event, Our MBA at 40 – celebrating leadership and influence.
Last year, the Adam Smith Business School were delighted to receive an award from the Association of MBAs marking 40 years of accreditation. Accreditation is vital for ensuring and enhancing the quality of our MBA programme. Our 40th anniversary provides an important opportunity to reflect on our successes to date and celebrate our fostering of leadership and global influence with our alumni and many friends who have contributed to the programme’s strength through guest lectures, projects, and facilitating and hosting dissertation research. Being 40 also provides an impetus to organise our thoughts about programme development for the future.
Confirmed panel members for our launch include University of Glasgow alumna, Amanda McMillan, Chief Executive Officer of Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton (AGS) Airports Ltd, Professor Ronald MacDonald, Research Professor of Macroeconomics and International Finance and Dr Thomas Anker, Senior Lecturer in Management at the Adam Smith Business School.
