Description

The Our South Downs Schools’ Conference is a FREE one day event for teachers, senior leaders and school governors working in and around the South Downs National Park.

  • Come and be inspired by two inspirational keynote speakers:

Professor Justin Dillon, Chair of the National Association for Environmental Education and Graduate School of Education, University of Exeter - the multiple benefits of science learning outside the classroom for pupils and teachers

Mr Matthew Dampier, Headteacher of Droxford Junior School - a whole school approach to local learning

  • Participate in three hands-on workshops full of practical ideas to take back to school - over 15 workshops to choose from on a range of subjects including literacy, maths, geography, science, history and wellbeing

  • Find out about the support available to your school to access outdoor learning within the South Downs National Park

  • Network with other schools and outdoor learning providers
