Welcome to Out-Out & Lou's "Made"; An LGBT+ Crafting Workshop Celebrating Pride Month! Join us at Lou's Sewing Studio (below "The Annex Salon") for a fun and creative event where you can express yourself through crafting.

This workshop is a fantastic way to celebrate Pride Month with the LGBT+ community and our allies. Whether you're a seasoned crafter or a newbie, everyone is welcome to come together and make something special.

With a variety of projects to choose from, from bunting to banners - theres something for you.

What is the purpose of this LGBT+ crafting workshop in Rugby?

The workshop is being held to celebrate pride month and provide a safe space for members of the LGBT+ community and allies to come together and create something special.

This workshop is open to anyone who identifies as a member of the LGBT+ community or as an ally.

Do I have to be an experienced crafter to attend the workshop?

No not at all! The workshop is open to crafters of all experience levels. Everyone is welcome to participate and create something unique without judgement.

What materials will be provided at the workshop?

The materials provided will vary depending on the craft being taught. And all necessary materials will be provided for attendees to complete their crafting projects. However, should you wish to bring along in addition any of your own materials to use you're very welcome to do so!

How long will the workshop last?

The workshop will last for approximately 2.5 hours.

Is there a cost to attend the workshop?

No, the workshop is completely free to attend.

Do I need to register in advance to attend the workshop?

Yes, registration is required in advance to ensure that we have enough materials for all attendees. Availability is strictly limited due to space so we recommend booking ASAP once you've confirmed your availability.

Can I bring a friend with me to the workshop?

Yes, attendees are welcome to bring a friend or family member to the workshop as long as they also register themselves in advance. Please bear in mind that spaces are strictly limited - so please only register if all attendees are confirmed as able to attend.

Will there be any refreshments provided at the workshop?

Unfortunately, there will be no refreshments provided at the workshop. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own cold snacks and drinks if necessary.

Is there parking on-site?

There is no parking available at the studio, however on-street parking is available nearby. Please check signs carefully for permitted timings and any applicable charges. As a responsible social group we encourage the use of public transport/car-sharing wherever possible.

What is accessibility like at the venue?

Workshop will be taking place on the ground floor of the building in what typically is "The Annex" salon space. There is a single, small step-up initially into the venue & a ramp is available if required. There is a single, gender neutral toilet on site. Accessible toilet facilities located nearby.
