Mark your calendars for 1pm to 6pm, Wednesday, 22nd October 2025, as we invite you to The Theatre Deli at 107 Leadenhall Street to experience a vibrant, festival-style event that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community like never before.

Whether you’re from the Insurance industry or outside it, Out-Spoken: A Celebration of Queer Inclusion is for everyone who values inclusion, diversity and creativity. With engaging activities, thought-provoking discussions, and incredible drop-in sessions, you won’t want to miss this free event!

This is more than just an event – it’s a celebration of identity, empowerment, and wellbeing. Timed to coincide with the spirit of National Coming Out Day 2025, the festival is dedicated to fostering a sense of belonging and community, whether at work, at home, or in everyday life.

Tickets are free, but there is an optional donation to Mermaids, Miller’s 2025 charity partner, when you book your place.

  • Panel – Coming Out: Feeling Supported: Hear personal stories of coming out, with an emphasis on workplace experiences and the importance of management support in creating inclusive environments.
  • 18th Century Molly Houses – Safe Spaces: An exploration of historical safe spaces for LGBTQ+ individuals.
  • In Discussion with ......(TBC): Join our conversation with a wonderful author as we discuss their stunning breakout novel, and take a peek at their follow up work which is to be published soon.

  • Screening Room – Celebrating LGBTQ+ History Through Film
    Step into the world of filmmaker David Graham, whose short films, including “It’s a Queer, Queer World, The Life of Fred Barnes”, will be showcased throughout the afternoon. Don’t miss the chance to join a Q&A with the Director and Historian at specific times to gain unique insights into these powerful stories.
  • Life Drawing with a Twist
    Hosted by the Ben Springham Studio, drop-in life drawing sessions will feature a performance artist model (clothed). These sessions focus on drawing as a tool for well-being, calm and mental health, providing a creative and meditative outlet for all participants.
  • Confidence and Empowerment Through Burlesque
    Boost your confidence with Violet Vixen (Kerri O’Driscoll) as she leads practical burlesque-inspired sessions focusing on empowerment and self-esteem. Learn simple techniques, such as the art of glove removal, in a fun and supportive environment – no undressing required!
  • LGBTQ+ Market Place

Explore a bustling market featuring Good Boi Candles, The Common Press, Aaron Bishop Aesthetics/Skin Care and other queer run artist and crafts businesses.
