Event description

Description

Explore different ways to cook outside using locally foraged and grown produce with your family at home, or at a community space for events, activities and community engagement. We will look at different cooking methods and using what you grow or grows perhaps wild on site or in the community.

Types of cooking include camp fire cooking, BBQ’s, cooking on a small gas stove and using a cob oven. Ideas for running workshops and events with recipes using local, seasonal produce to engage different audiences and the wider community including families and children. This will be a hands on session and we will light a campfire and do some cooking. We will also cover equipment and health and safety.

Trainer: Maria Devereaux
