About this event

Book your tickets to experience outdoor cinema at Petworth. The garden opens at 6:30pm and films will begin showing at 8:30pm on a 30-foot screen in Petworth’s Pleasure Garden.

Adult ticket £15, child ticket £7.50

Romeo + Juliet is based on William Shakespeare’s classic play. This blockbuster adaptation of two star-crossed lovers by Baz Luhrmann stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes. Rated 12A.

We recommend booking tickets in advance to guarantee entry, if available tickets can also be purchased on the door.

Please Note:

  • Please arrive to our main visitor Car Park on the A283, signposted 'Petworth House'
  • This event will be outdoors, please come prepared for the weather.
  • Some slopes and undulating terrain in the Garden.
  • A mobility vehicle is available for those who need assistance between the car park and the event.
  • Toilets are located 400 meters from the event.
  • Assistance dogs only.
  • You are welcome to bring a picnic.
  • No seating is provided so please feel free to bring your own chair or blanket.
  • Please note BBQs and gazebos are not permitted.
  • Refreshments will be available to purchase along with ice creams and snacks.
  • An upgraded ticket can be purchased which includes a hot dog, crisps and soft drink/wine (£21.50/£25.50 - adults, £14 - children). Please select the relevant ticket at check out. Vegetarian option available. Hot dogs only available by pre-booking.
