Mendip Outdoor Instructor Training

Interested in becoming an outdoor instructor? This open day is the next step for you. We welcome you to come along and visit Mendip Activity Centre. On the day you'll have the chance to:
- Visit our country Lodge, the accommodation for the 18 week course
- Take part in an outdoor activity for free!
- See Mendip in action
- Find out about day-to-day life on the course
- Meet our team, including past graduates of our training courses
- Ask as many questions as you like
Structure of the day. The day will start at 10am with tea and coffee. We'll go for a tour of our site and you will have the opportunity to take part in an outdoor activity or two! Lunch will be provided and we can cater to all dietary requirements. We'll be done by 4pm; however, if you can only attend a part of the day, that's not a problem- simply let us know in advance.
Kit List. We suggest you wear loose clothing and good footwear that is suitable for moving around. If it's due to be wet or cold, please bring suitable clothing. More suggestions can be found on our general kit list, here.
Accommodation. You're welcome to camp at Mendip the night before the open day. Please let us know in advance so we can arrange this. Alternatively, we can suggest local hotels and B&Bs.
