We will time travel back to 18th Century as Claire did in Outlander to visit three impressive and historic Castles. We will start the journey by visiting15th century Blackness Castle, known as a ship that never sailed. Blackness Castle stands as fictional Fort William headquarters of Black Jack Randall, but it also featured in the heart-wrenching scene of Jamie's incarceration in Outlander. (The Castle's ground is FREE - discounted £7 an admission fee applies to visit the castle). Our second and most popular stop is at 14th century Linlithgow Palace, knows as a opals with over 700 windows and stunning views overlooking Linlithgow Loch. As the highlight of our Outlander Tour, the ruins of Linlithgow Palace stands in for the prison entrance and corridors in the scene where Jamie is imprisoned. (The Castle's ground is FREE - discounted £7 an admission fee applies to visit the caslte). We will also visit Calendar House, dating back to the 14th Century, an outstanding and gorgeous mansion that stands as Duke of Sandringham’s home, featured in Outlander episode 2.11 Vengeance is Mine!
