A creative thinking workshop where you can explore transferable skills, experience, strengths, passions and interests to help generate real business ideas, or build on an existing one. We will also discuss, identify and evaluate the barriers you face, both real and perceived, and explore the many ways of overcoming them.
The following Introduction to Enterprise (I2E) sessions will take place at the same venue every week between 10am and 1pm on the following dates:
I2E 2 - Thursday 22 September 2016
This workshop will help you consider what entrepreneurial quaities that you have and how they relate to your success in business. Also, discover where your locus of control lies and explore the important area of Market Research in relation to your business idea.
I2E 3 - Thursday 29th September 2016
This workshop focuses on your Market Research feedback from the previous session and explores the financial feasibility and viability of your business idea, whilst accounting for your personal attitude to finance and risk.
I2E 4 - Monday 3rd October 2016
This workshop focuses on the different types of business structures together with their benefits and limitations, leading to the areas you need to consider when starting a business. The importance of writing a Business Plan and setting goals will also be covered in this session.
