Event description

Description

We need you to be part of our '31 days of events' campaign in March. Where we are asking our whole community to come together to make a real difference by raising funds so we can extend our Support Services. That’s 31 days to fill with awareness raising and fundraising activity!! Could you help us fill a space on our calendar?

Ovacome supports women throughout their experience of ovarian cancer. t the moment we support thousands of women and family members every year. We are there for them when they hit their lowest points, we celebrate with them when they receive good news and sometimes we just listen when they need to talk. We do the same for their family members and friends too.

We provide a range of support services; a telephone support line, a 24 hour online forum, face to face support groups, email support and an instant chat service. We also produce leaflets, information and a newsletter – all packed with information that women with ovarian cancer need. We have been doing this for 21 years! We are here to support women for as long as they need.

With your help we can reach more women and provide more face to face support, across the UK.

Ovacome is not a large charity, we don’t spend your donations on large advertising or marketing campaigns, we spend it on providing support for the women with ovarian cancer when they need it and in the way they want it.

By supporting this campaign you will be helping us to extend our opening hours, provide more information and run more groups.

The target: £55,000

The mission: help us raise our ambitious target of £55,000 in March so that we can support more women.
