Frampton Farm, situated between Dover and Capel, is a working farm that offers educational visits to people of all ages, from school trips and adults with different needs, to families and Young Farmers.

This visit, for over-55's, offers a real behind-the-scenes look at farm life and, at £12, is a fraction of the price of a privately booked VIP tour. You'll accompany the farm manager on the afternoon feed and care round where you’ll be able to pet the friendly animals, give them treats and discover their unique personalities and care needs.

With the recent birth of a baby alpaca (known as a cria) and another due to be born before this visit, you'll be blown away by these beautiful creatures!

This will be a great opportunity to learn about animal husbandry and horticulture, as well as a chance to connect with nature and gain a deeper appreciation for farm life.

As the farm is on hills, and the paddocks can get muddy in wet weather, unfortunately wheelchairs cannot be accommodated. Please wear wellies or old close-toed shoes.

Hand washing faciltites are available. Light refreshments (tea & biscuits) will be provided during the afternoon.

NB - this event can only take place if sufficient people book, in order to cover the fee charged for this one-off event!

Age UK South Kent Coast is delivering wellbeing activities for over 55's in partnership with Social Enterprise Kent, funded by Kent County Council (KCC).
