Come join us at the Drylaw Neighbourhood Centre for a fun, engaging and inclusive drama class tailored specifically for those over 60. Whether you're a seasoned actor or just looking to try something new, this class is perfect for all levels of experience.

We will play about with easy acting exercises, games and scene work to help you unleash your creativity and boost your confidence. Plus, it's a great way to meet new friends and stay active in a supportive environment. The class supports seated exercise if needed.

Do I need to have done drama before

Not at all! Fun is the emphasis!

Do I have to come every week

The sessions are designed to be standalone so, if you have other commitments popping up or at times may not feel up to coming this is the perfect class for you.

I am interested but done feel very confident in new group situations, should I come along.

The group and Drylaw Neighbourhood Centre are welcoming and supportive, you can always come along and try a sessions and, if it is not for you you have had an interesting morning out :) We always start with a catch-up and a cuppa...

What kind of drama do you do

The classes have all sorts of games and techniques at their core. Tragic Carpet is a visual theatre company but we explore all forms of performance through games and interactive exercises. We tend to follow the interests of the group.
