What will the training cover?

In line with the principles of Parentkind’s Blueprint for Parent-Friendly Schools, this introductory online workshop will set you up with the basics your school, college or educational setting needs to build successful parent partnerships. In this two-hour online session, you will be given practical tools, techniques and actions that your school, college or educational setting can embed to cultivate an environment that nurtures parental participation in all areas of their child’s education.

Who is the training for?

This event is suitable for teachers, teaching assistants, senior leadership, pastoral staff, local authority staff within education departments, other staff with responsibility for parental involvement, governors, recruitment and outreach staff, Uni Connect staff, third party organisations working with parents.

How will this benefit me?

This two-hour online session will provide you with the tools and techniques to nurture positive parental participation with the school, college or educational setting, as well as contributing to your continuing professional development.
