Ken Adams is a leading international authority on the building blocks of contract language. Among other things, he’s author of A Manual of Style for Contract Drafting, published by the American Bar Association. Ken is acutely aware that although we’re moving away from dysfunctional traditional contract language, progress is slow. Ken will discuss with us the resistance to change that he’s encountered in different constituencies, what underlies that resistance, and what can be done to help organizations and individuals accept change.
