Tracey’s knowledge on apprenticeships is nationally respected.   As a senior leader she is uniquely placed provide suggestions and guidance on making a professional business case to use the apprenticeship levy. If you are finding it challenging to convince your senior leadership team or your managers that spending the apprenticeship level adds value to your business, then Tracey will share ideas on how to make your argument.


Anna Clarke, Head of Apprenticeships, Milton Keynes College

As well as having extensive knowledge of the Education and Skills Funding Agency regulations and how apprenticeship funding can be spent, Anna can give you suggestions how to convince your managers that 20% off the job is a good idea by clarifying what is ‘on the job’ and what is ‘off the job’ training.


Cheryl Smith, Learning Experience Specialist, Xero

Xero is a fast growing accountancy software company who have disrupted the accountancy software market. Their Learning Experience Specialist, Cheryl, will explain how level apprenticeships in Leadership and Management are being used to develop talent, are linked to organisational strategy and how outcomes will be measured.


Karen Weldon, Professional Apprenticeship Manager, Milton Keynes College

It’s not all over once they are on board and as an experienced apprentice trainer Karen can point out the quick wins to justify the 20% off the job as well as danger signs and wobbles.

-Examine how to identify your talent and develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours within an apprenticeship standard.


-Understand the resistance that your apprentice may evidence when they start the course.


-The support both the apprentice and their manager needs on their apprenticeship journey.
